EWI Scholarship Program (EWISP)

A student may apply for an EWI Scholarship award if he/she is:
  • Current, full-time secondary school senior enrolled in a public, private or parochial school* located within the territorial boundaries of a participating EWI Chapter.
  • Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution.
*Only one student per school is eligible to enter
Students who wish to compete for this scholarship must submit the following documents:
  • Completed Student Application form
  • Autobiographical essay
  • Listing of awards and honors
  • Certified copy of transcripts
  • Two letters of endorsement: one from a sponsoring teacher and one from a personal contact (different from the sponsoring teacher)
    Copy of the most recent completed and filed federal tax form from the person who claimed you on their income tax return

EWI assists adult students who are striving to achieve their educational and career goals while effectively overcoming adversity in their lives. Each year EWI of Spokane works with one or more colleges in the Spokane area to identify candidates for this scholarship.
